Why the switch from Power BI to Fabric is unavoidable

Microsoft has announced the discontinuation of Power BI Premium per capacity (P-SKUs). Companies that previously relied on these capacities need to switch to Microsoft Fabric. Fabric has been available since 2023 and combines Power BI with Azure Synapse, Data Factory, and other workloads into a comprehensive data platform.

This step signifies more than a mere license change - it is a strategic shift from Power BI to Fabric, which should be carefully planned.
